Starting Point

The interior work of the 2.5 room apartment dates back to 1972, the year of construction. THE chance, to wake this “sleeping beauty” from its long sleep by a kiss and to create a modern 75 m2 home. After a total renovation, the object is ready for resale. It is meant to appeal to a wide range of customers and still offer that certain something.

Implementation

The well arranged floor plan with ample storage space in the entrance hall characterizes this apartment. Two of the built-in cupboards had to give way to the enlargement of the bathroom. The bathtub is replaced by a shower and the VAL lay-on sink presents itself centrally located in the room.

Modern, simple shapes and surfaces, such as wood, ceramics and glass characterize the newly renovated apartment visually. The color concept is based on the earth tones, where the ubiquitous neutral white leaves room for the high quality materials. In contrast to the bright kitchen, the rear wall is painted in the warm shade Elephant‘s Breath by Farrow & Ball. The white-oiled oak parquet flooring accentuates the large living room and creates a calm, neutral atmosphere. All carpentry work is by one provider.
